Erin has been writing her blog, The Fairy Princess Diaries since 2012. It has helped transform the theatrical casting landscape both ‘at home’ in the USA and abroad – U.K., Australia, France, New Zealand starting conversations about ethical casting.

She is the co-writer of the screenplay for The Mikado Project, which was in several film festivals around the country, she is the sole writer of Queen Bessie’s Gal, which was a short film that was part of Voices of Women’s larger work, Entanglement. That film made it to over 30 film festivals around the world, including Cannes International Film Festival.




She is an Associate Producer on the landmark film, The Sensei – written and directed by D. Lee Inosanto.
Her work is included in two books – Theatrical Blogging: The Emergence of a Critical Culture edited by Megan Vaughn, and RISE: A Pop Culture History of Asian America from the 90’s to now, edited by Jeff Yang, Phil Yu, and Philip Wang.

She has been quoted or ‘sourced’ by The New York Times, Buzz Feed, The Wall Street Journal, Broadway.com, Playbill.com, Backstage, and many more. She is considered an expert on casting in regards to AANHPI performers and she consults privately for Broadway Casting Directors, Hollywood Producers, and New York Creatives.
